Webcam to LCD screen - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hey there

I need some advice on where to start with video signals and LCD screens... and pretty much have no idea where to start.

How would I go about taking the video picture as seen by a webcam or digital camera and displaying it on an LCD screen (preferably a color LCD screen from an old cellphone)? The LCD would function pretty much the same as the LCD viewfinders on digital cameras, the only difference being it wouldn't be attached to the camera.

For what reason? Use a cell phone camera, they all do video nowdays. Video projects are not for the faint of heart because processing the images takes a lot of horsepower.
