Hi there..i have read a magazine recently and there are some ICs i didnt really know what are they. So can you help me check them out? I wound like to know what are they used for. What are their functions?

ULN2803

the first and last one are logic gates. try searching for them on www.altavista.com

registration is free, and it should give you links to manufacturers of the chips, and links to the relevant datasheets. If that doesn't help try google (bask in the greatness).
