It doesn't zap anything because it is not a zapper.
Its specs say that the new one (with a Cmos 555) has an improved output of 9V compared to the 7.5V output of the old one (with a normal 555). They list its couple of mA of output current (into a short circuit) but not the femto-amps of current into the skin of a person.

The US government does not allow the junk to be called a "medical device" so it is called "experimental".

Gullable people who believe in these medical quacks are born every day.
The medical quacks know it and laugh all the way to their bank.
They also sell miracle herbs.

Haha, that's funny.
I'm going to build the device to perform some test. I will use the device to perform other non-biological test. So, forget about the biological test.

I have all the components and I'm assembling the circuit, I will post some photos because I don't know if I have built in the correct way.

 

Looks like a fun easy circuit to build.

The zapping part not to sure about but as long its only a 9V battery, maybe we could all use a zap every once in a while.

 

Righhht. Better than drilling holes in your head. It does nothing medically though.

What kind of "tests" were you going to do?

 

It is an oscillator. It can drive a piezo transducer to deafen the parasites so they move away.
Do parasites have ears?
