Hey there,

I'm building a Dice-circuit, similar to that of the attachment below, and with the resistors slightly different.

However, I couldn't make it to slow down. How am I going to make the thing to have its own slowdown mechanism?

I wired it like that and still, that thing wouldn't slow down.

Why did you change the resistor values?

Uh.. because first, i don't have a 68k resistors on the schematics. So it might be possible if I modify the circuit a little bit.

Or are these slowdown circuits fixed for those resistors?

IIUC there is a wire link missing from the circuit drawing.
Junction C1 R1 to pin 6 of the 555.???

I think the circuit is missing three pieces of wire and is missing a supply bypass capacitor.
