Default How do i use the NE555 Chip??

What i have understand is the NE555 chip a kind of pulse-generator. How do I use it?? Anyone that have a schematics over a simple circuit with the NE555???

True, using Google will bring up a LOAD of information about 555 timers. For starters, heres a good link on the subject. There a lots of sample circuits toward the bottom of the web page, where you can mess around with the 555. Good stuff!

The 555 is not the only way to make timers, astables, monostables etc.
