can any one tell me the designing steps of digital ic
we have to complete projects in ELECTRONIC DESIGNING TECHNOLOGY our subject in 3rd year of electronics engineering.i have selected fastest finger first i want to know about designing steps for digital ics i.e IC7475 , IC74LS747 and also about timer IC555.which book or which website i should refer .

The data sheet is a good place to start. If you do a Google search on the IC, you will probably find some applications. Also, search the manufacturers website for application notes.
