ok, this is what i need:

a simple transmitter and simple reciever, all i want to do is light a low power christmas light on the other end with a small amount of power

how can this be done, and can anyone point me in the direction to go

i just want to press a button a fair distance away, and the light lights up all that distance away, timeing doesnt matter, aslong as it works a fair distance
