| I am totally lost on my engineering assignment. The problem is: Give logic symbols for adding and comparing the binary values for 5 and 9. Show the input values and the output values or states of each logic symbol. In addition, draw the logic diagrams for adding and comparing the binary values for 17 and 22. Somebody please help!!! | |

| I think you need to read the text book. By logic symbols I assume it is meant: 5 = 101, 9 = 1001. Surely you can add 1+1 in binary?

| The question is a bit vague. perhaps they want you to show how a logic IC can add and compare two binary numbers. See for example the data sheets for the CMOS ICs 4008 and 74C85 Len | |
