Default Hard to find Doides

Can anyone help me find these diodes?!! Aparently they are no longer in production and I was wondering if someone could help me find an equivelent. Here goes:

Phillips BY8416

Spec Trr Vrrm I
Vrrm (ns) Max (ma)
(v) (v)

16,000 100 19,000 3


And RGP5060
I don't know the specs on this one.

Choose another from this serie with higher Vrsm. e.g BY8420 existiert...

The RGP5060 is replaced by NTE552...

NTE type you mention is just regular Si diode 1Amp and 600V.
It should be no problem to replace it with 1N4006 or 1N4007.
The first one he is looking for is high voltage diode
as used in old TV sets.

Thanks for the NTE cross ref. I will use it! The problem I am having though is the BY84 serries is almost exstinct. I can't find any of them. I was just wondering if there was a easier to find(still in production)equivelent. Thanks for the info.
