| Dear All, I am currently designing an ADC. I am not clear how to calculate the various errors that are present in an ADC. The ADC is TLC3578 from TI. It is a successive approximation type ADC. I came across various documents that tells about the various errors that are present in an ADC. But I am not clear as to how to calculate those errors for the ADC that I am using. It will be helpful if someone could help me in this regard. Thanks in Advance. Keep Smiling, Best regards, Murugesh | |

| You are not designing an ADC, you are using an ADC chip. The error is stated in the chips data sheet. I would guess ±1 lsb. Mike. | |
