Hi need help designing a circuit with a photodiode - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hi i am using a photo diode to detect a red laser (its a continous wave).I just want to get a 5v signal wen the laser is is detected by the photodiode. can someone please please help me

replace the 9V source with 5V
replace the relay with your DMM or whatever else you're using that needs to read the 5V output

Or if you need it clean 0V and 5V, connect a buffer IC in place of the relay

We just recently roasted that crappy circuit, and Aaroncake's site in general.

heh, guess I should bother to think whether or not the circuit works in the first place before posting about it
