Being an irrepressible programmer I couldn't help but find a solution in search of a problem. So I've created a website that takes your gerbers and generates a set of PNG images. It's free, and seems like something useful for visualizing what all those G54s, G02s and D03s really mean.
It handles most of the gerbers I've thrown at it, but I'd like to see how it stands-up to the general public. So...
The next time you verify what's in those gerber files before sending them out for fab, please visit
www.CircuitPeople.com and see how it works. If it doesn't, please let us know. If it does, well -- cool! And, if you have any thoughts on how to make this site even more useful, let us know that, too!
