Hi i have a lm339 and i use only one of the comparator. Do you know an IC with the same characteristics that it has only one comparator (or two).Thanks

LM393 Dual Comparator, 8-Pin, same characteristic as LM339 Quad.

I don't blame you for wanting a small IC. Sometimes it's good to have unused parts on a chip but it does use more power, take up more board space and drilling the extra holes is a pain.

The LM311 isn't quite the same but it has more output current.
