hey some guy wants me to build him a massive - like 1000W amp and i'm on my way to becoming an electronics tradesperson, and i've done amplifiers as a subject, but the amps we were looking at were only small signal amps. when i look in the catalogue and see a 200W power transistor can i put a few in a row to make it massive? are high power amps just the same as small ones, but with a high power transistor?

If you really want to build a 1000W amp... use mosfets and you'll need a lot of money, cause KW's don't come cheap
