Dear Friend,
I am going to make a transformer (step down/9-0-9 volt/3 amp current) for my audio amplifier. I want to know everything about transformer making ( types of core, bobbin number, copper wire thickness,etc.). Can you tell me the urls about it ? Thank you, Have a good day ! |

I agree, for such a common and low power transformer it should be easy to pick one up from surplus and E-bay type sellers. Now if you were talking about 2KW transformers then that would be another story.
Sorry but I don't have any decent links for transformer construction. It is a pretty specialized field and takes plenty of tricks and experiance to get them right. Good luck Lefty
