try inkscape

I like it for knocking together quick cct's, otherwise I fire up OrCAD for full-circuits (rails and such)

i like eagle to make schematics, but then again, i don't do it all that often.

haven't used it myself but you can try this:

http://tinycad.sourceforge.net/

also, if you join autodesk's student community, you can download all the student versions of their software for free, including autocad electrical. that would probably be your best bet.

I’m using Adobe Photoshop for the hell of it lol.

See my two examples which has done with it.

hi,
If want a simple electronic circuit drawing program, search for 'ExpressPCB',
its free and it also comes with a PCB artwork/routing program.

Includes all the common electronic symbols and you can export your drawing as a *.bmp file.

Even if you dont produce your own artworks for etching, the program is helpful when designing Vero board layouts.

Here is the link:

Given that you want to draw schematics there is a good chance that at some point you will either want to simulate the circuit or make a PCB for it.

If you pick a draw only solution you will have switch tools to do either.

If you think you will be doing simulation first go with a spice program like LTspice.

If you think you will be doing a PCB first go with a PCB layout program like Eagle.
