Vdip2 module from FTDI
Has anyone ever used one of these multipurpose USB modules from FTDI before? I'm thinking the VDIP2 is a good buy, but at 33$ (US) from mouser it's a little pricey for a single module though.
It can provide a microcontroller with a high speed link to a PC and a USB flash drive. If you forgo the PC connectivity it allows interfacing to CDC and HID class USB devices as a host. I'd like to know if anyone here has any kind of experiance with them before I decide if I want to grab one or not. http://www.vinculum.com/prd_vdip1.html
