The image below shows a common AC universal motor, installed far away from the toggle switch, which can rotate in either direction via the toggle switch.
I was ask if it is possible to fit two LEDs at the motor location to indicate the direction of the motor rotation and I'm running out of ideas. Can anyone knows of any circuit which can gives the direction of the motor rotation using electrical signals from the four terminals of the motor?
