    Talking Help to play voice

    Hi All,

    i'm building a robot controlled via RF , i need it talk telling it's current direction .

    for example when i change it's direction to left , my robot say " Left direction "

    how to do that?

    i have a text to speech software on my computer so i can recored the messages i want to play afterwards , but i don't know how to store it on my robot and play it in the desired time,

    sure there are an ic doing that

    i'm using PIC 877 ,

    Yes there is an IC series for voice and audio recording and playback options.
    But it cannot do text to speech.

    as i just wrote in another post...

    but i've done some experimenting with an ISD4002 2 minute audio recorder chip.
    worked quite well in conjunction with a microcontroller.
    some of the ISD range go up to 16 minutes...
