i was attempting to program a micro(jdm programmer). it seemed to be programming properly(icprog). but did not verify. got error message failed at address 0000h! any thoughts? 16f84a

Don't use a JDM programmer, they are the most unreliable there is - even the original author admits it! - it's basically just a design to prove how clever he was (and it's a VERY clever design), but this means it only works on some PC's.
