Hello
For obtaining the hybrid parameters hi,hr,hf,ho we use the equations
Vi=h11*Ii + h12*Vo
Io=h21*Ii + h22*Vo
then we set Vo=0 to get h11 = hi = Vi/Ii = short circuit impedance parameter etc

But how did we get these equations in the first place??[/u][/i]
