Default Remote mounted LCD screen

Hello all, im knew to the forum, and also knew to electronics. I am hoping to get some advice on how i might remove the lcd from the cell phone case, while still remaining electrically connected. essentially i want to make a model of a videogame setup, the phone itself will be incase inside the model, and te lcd screen will look like a monitor when im done. i will import custom animations onto the phone. so what im looking to do is basically lengthen the lcd connections and ribbon cable. any suggestions?

Default

open the both side cases & remove the battery in the phone & remove it from a hot iron (soldering) gun.
If the LCD has a lock type connector just remove the clip.

Thats all.
