Default Need help on how to reversing DC motor

hi,i am a newbie here and would like to know on how to reversing and forwarding a DC motor using switch.DC motor : 12v,50A

A large double pole double throw (DPDT) with switch contacts rated for that current level would be the simplest. Also shown below (link) is using a relay to do the same thing. The biggest problem is the current level your attempting to switch, you need really large contacts.
