| I have been laying out a PCB for a RS232 ICD2 clone my students can build. If one generates VPP with the max232 is there any reason why the ICD2 needs it own power supply and regulation? The targets power and ground are available on the ICSP connector. This would eliminate the wall wart and power regulation section which cuts the cost nearly in half. | |
