| Hi everyone, I recently came across this component and was wondering if someone could help identify it. I know it used as a speaker so I imagine it can be referred to as an audio transducer but my electronics knowledge is hazy! If someone could tell me what it is and perhaps identify it exactly, that would be great - otherwise, I will try to find an alternative using the helpful information given. Many thanks! | |

| It could be many things, but two immediately spring to mind: Continuity tester. Microphone.

| How big is it ? Is it heavy ? How many conductors has the lead / is there a plug attached? Is it sealed ? Have you had a look inside ? What does it look like from other angles ? | |

| It is an electric shaver from the '60s. I still have one.
