Search google for a "555 multiviburator online web calculator"

Then you can add a pot and tweak it to what you desire.

5000Hz, shouldn't be ultrasonic, unless you're hard of hearing. Don't use a piezo buzzer in this circuit because it won't work, use a piezo transducer.

It likely won't work well since the freq. should either alternate hi & low or be random freqs. tests show that a single freq. does very little to thwart pests.

The frequency is 5kHz so that your cheap transducer can produce it and so that you can hear it. Then you think that it might do something (it doesn't).
With a supply of only 1.5V it will not be very loud.

The word "Paki" is taken as a racist insult here in the UK. I had know idea that people actually use it as an abbriviation or for someone actually coming from Pakistan. I suppose it's just all that political correctness bs, there again it's probably only taken racist because it's misused. People often call anyone who's southeast Asian a Paki in which case they are bieng racist.

Do Pakis also wear turbans?
Do they also let their beards grow uncontrolled (I noticed their women do)?
Do they also wear pyjammas all day and all night?
Eat curry?
Cows in the streets?
Other weird things?

5Khz is not only going to bother the cats and dogs. It will bother you as well.

I think a 555 circuit and amp is best for you (like I said before)..

And 1.5 volts. Are you going to duct tape it on their head? Only way they will here it and it bother them.

Far as "paki". You guys have funny slang. The one that gets me is "fag" (I think that was for a cigarette). But I do drink tea everyday..

Just like here in the states that it's acceptable for one black to call another black a "N----r" but let a whitey be heard saying it and it's riot time with knives and guns! Only on rare occasions will blacks accept a caucasion's use of that word... usually or only if they're a gang banger.
Personally, I myself have never taken offense from name calling no matter what is may have been. It's something I let roll off of me. Now, if someone were to call my truck a piece of worthless "chit", well it's back to knives and guns!!

Police in Canada stopped a black guy in a Mercedes. They thought he stole it. They slipped some drugs in his pocket then charged him with possession.
The black guy was a lawyer and the cops really got it in court!

We never had slavery in Canada. We never had blacks nor Indians nor Pakis nor Chinese nor Muslims nor ... until recently.
