I thought the indians were here first, then the white guys shot most of them, herded the rest to the west coast or whereever the mountains were too big of a pain to get around (worthless rocks anyway, until somebody found gold and stuff...).

Audioguru, that is because it is to DANG COLD up there. And my behind will stay in Florida and rebuild if I have to. The hurricane is only a 1/2 a day (sometimes 2 times a year). Not counting the 3 days prep at the last second. But that cold is for a long time.

And I have never owned a slave, probably because I am one.

I heard that the Indians came to North and South America from Japan. They walked up to Russia then around the Alaskan panhandle, down the Yukon into BC and kept walking south to South America. Many stayed in Mexico.
The Indians that wear turbans and pyjammas are completely different.

It doesn't get very cold in the inhabitted parts of Canada. It gets very cold far in the north where the polar bears roam.
It doesn't get roasting hot here like in some of the United States.

You are a slave? Yeah, I'm married too, but happily.

Yes fags, it's quite funny the US meaning is occasionally used, but normally when we talk about fags we mean cigarettes, not men who like other men.

There are other differences between US and UK slang and it can be quite amusing when the yanks don't understand. Our company has recently been bought by a US company. Someone from the US deleivered a presentation describing how we should get lashed up. Everyone started laughing, when, we talk about getting lashed up we mean getting pissed (drinking far too much). Of course I understand he meant that our companies should join together, and he laughed too when he learnt about our slang use of lashed up.

I worked for Mitel (Kanata company) for 15 years.. Did many trips up there. It is very nice up there. The air was dry so it is was not really as cold as you would think. I really liked it. Except for driving in the snow and ice.

And slave wise, work all day for the boss and all night for the other BOSS. Married for sure.. 25 years last month.

I knew pissed but not lashed-up though.

I should take my kids over there for a vacation just to hear them giggle. Dad, that man asked that man for a fag..

My wife is always wanting to go somewhere (and I am beyond Disney'ed out).. That's a place I have always wanted to visit. Australia and Spain too. Not sure I could deal with the driving on the left though (but you would know I am there)..

I live in a suburb of Toronto. It is much warmer here in winter than in Kanata.
Two cities with native Indian names.

Funny history lesson for me.

So these Indians (non Paki) walked thru Russia, over to Alaska, thru Canada, thru the US and it got too hot for them about Mexico and they stopped?

Then Nigel and Hero999's boys came over and screwed it all up? Or what happened in the middle of that. Don't tell me Spanish types came over in a boat.

Sounds like it was already screwed up when the Brits came here.

Also, I live off Hypoluxo road. Another Indian name. Someone kicked their buts and took all their land it looks like..

EDIT: Crap. I thought I was in chit-chat. Sorry. 555 timer man. Good luck on the dog and cat abuse. RonH, did you ever get your dog problem solved?

Those native indians kept walking south into South America.
The Incas and Mayan indians were brilliant.

Glad they did not freeze on the way. Wonder if we can dig up wooden bikes?

If they came thru Egypt and left pyramids behind. And if they built them, why walk here. But it was probably hot there, they hit South America and said "we are back home".
