please help in building digital ammeter maximum reading 9.99 mA . Ac current

do u want the whole thing to be build from scratch.? or can u use adc ic .? if yes build a voltmeter(u know how to) using that adc , that can be easily converted to an ammeter , (ohms law)

have a look at http://www.alldatasheet.com/datashee.../TLC7135C.html .it's an adc , use that to build a voltmeter
