What is IGBT transistor and why does it need to be used with IGBT driver?
How does we go about selecting the IGBT Driver?
And also what's the meaning of Vgs threshold and Vgs for transistor?
Pls advise.

I've never used IGBTs, but from what I understand, they combine the properties of regular BJTs and MOSFETs, ie. the base has a very high input impedance, and the C-E junction has low on resistance.

Perhaps someone else can enlighten us a bit more :P
