Looking for 8 channel analog multiplexer - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hello,

I am doing a new project where I am looking for an 8 input analog multiplexer. I have 8 analog inputs, and I want to run them to one pin of my PIC, for A2D conversion. The device I want is an 8 input analog multiplexer, correct?

Any suggestions, for a good cheap one? The ones I ran across were rather pricey.

Is 50 cents too much? Mouser has CD4051, 74HC4051, and 74HCT4051, all in that price range. Of course, they will cost a lot more, unless you order a lot of parts to amortize the shipping cost.
