i am generating high voltage spikes using transistor and transformer as a load to transistor collector and a feedback winding of transformer again given to base of transistor.but the circuit is not working.
HELP ME

What are you trying to do? You haven't explained very well.

If You haven't another failure(s) maybe help when changed the polarity of feedback winding. (sounds like a blocking oscillator)

Hi, i also want to generate hv spikes to test surge suppression devices, i did an spike generator switching inductances, it works well but i now i´m going to use an max generator, i think this will be useful for you, you can search ont he web for max generators. Also i found a pages of an impulse generator that is what i need, i´m going to prove it soon... if you found please gave me some help. the links for max generator and impulse gen are:
