Hello,

i want to power a 24V, .4A alarm bell from a 12V DC car batery.

does anybody know where i can find a circuit i can build to do this?

I think Sparf Fun has a tutorial where they did something real similar to that:

thanks, that circuit is the right idea. not quite the right voltages though.

i will see if i can adapt it to my application, but if anybody else has seen a circuit similar to this, please let me know.
