| I know LM3940 5V to 3.3V regulator, but... is there any other IC that converts any input voltage to 3.3V like 7805 does for 5V ?? Thank you | |

| LD1086V33 is the best equivelant I've found. You can get it from Mouser.com. Watch out, because it has different pinouts that the 7805. ..or LD1084V33 for a higher amperage. Also watch out, different pinout again. Assuming you are looking for TO-220 package.

| Google for micrel. They have very good 3.3V regulators with very low noise, optimum for RF applications. | |
