 LMC555 vs 7555...
Hi, How similar or different are the newer CMOS version, the LMC555, and the older low-power CMOS 7555? I need to find some of the 7555's, but I have found only the LMC555 version. As far as I can tell, chip manufacturers quit producing the 7555 about ten years ago. Anyone have an old data sheet for the 7555? I'd like to compare the two. Thanks.

The 7555 chip is available here: http://www.rapidelectronics.co.uk/rk...4476&XPAGENO=1 I bought ten of them for a project, so they'll be fine so long as they can ship to uranus :lol:
