Default LMC555 vs 7555...

Hi,
How similar or different are the newer CMOS version, the LMC555, and the older low-power CMOS 7555? I need to find some of the 7555's, but I have found only the LMC555 version. As far as I can tell, chip manufacturers quit producing the 7555 about ten years ago. Anyone have an old data sheet for the 7555? I'd like to compare the two. Thanks.

I bought ten of them for a project, so they'll be fine so long as they can ship to uranus
