HELLO EVERYONE CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO READ CERAMIC CAPACITORS. THERE IS A LOT OF INFORMATION ON THIS IN THE INTERNET, HOWEVER, I AM STUCK TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO READWITH 1 DIGIT CERAMIC CAPACITORS. FOR EXAMPLE , I HAVE QUITE A FEW VERY SMALL CAPACITORS THAT ONLY HAVE ONE DIGIT EXAMPLE: I ALREADY KNOW THAT 103 MEANS 10000pF AND 102 MEANS 1000pF. WHAT ABOUT A CAPACITOR THAT ONLY HAS ONE DIGIT AND THE DIGIT IS UNDERLINED LIKE "8". I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. JOEY

If not specified, capacitors are measured in pF, that's why 102 means 10+00 pF

To understand how to read capacitor codes on the small caps Try this link: http://www.geocities.com/hamfiles/Capcodes.gif

Oops. I guess my link does not work. If you go to: http://www.geocities.com/hamfiles/ Click on the Capacitor code link, it should work OK.
