Whats the difference between a SOJ package and a TSOP or SOP package? If i can't find an SOJ-to-DIL chip adaptor to put my sram on the breadboard, can i just use a TSOP-to-DIL one? :?:

The two packages are very different. Take a look at digikey.com. They have a ton of ram chips. You sould be able to find some in a DIP package. You might have to go for more than one chip at a lower density but its probably easier than trying to get those other packages onto a breadboard.
