Default Sawtooth wave oscillator

Hiya peoples,
So far I've spent 2 hours goggling for a simple sawtooth wave oscillator with no sucess. My mate said you could make one out of 2 transistors, a resistor and a cap, but trying to find a simple circuit to start with is becoming a pain so if anyone can provide a simple schematic or a link to a site I'll greatly appreciate it.

Cheers Bryan1
