Hi everybody, I want to activate the two way relay using a push button. means, if i push once the relay should activate and if i again push the relay should deactivate the the input voltage. 1. push the button( coil of the relay has to energise..and give the contact) 2.push the button 2nd time(relay should not give the contact) can any body suggest a simple circuit? I want 5v as a relay voltage and 12v as a coil volatge. thank u. |

use a DTSP push-button switch tied to +5V via a resistor - simple

Yeah, using a mechanical locking switch would be your easiest option. Doing it any other way you'll need a flip flop circuit, which is suprisingly complex for such a simple task.

this can be done with momentary button and three relays
(if that's what you want). search for 'flip-flop' circuit on www.plcs.net forum if three relays are too much, you can do it with one and some electronics (same thing, it would use electronic version of a flip flop circuit...) |
