Explain y 3-d vector field F=e^xi + xyj + Z^2k will have a non-zero curl and state which component of F produces this curl

Use the definition of curl to answer this problem! Find what directions and under what values make the solution not equal to zero.

Its actually vector calculus so you probably really hated it. You've got to have a taste for these sorts of things I suppose..
