Default RF transmission (don't laugh)

Are all data in RF transmission done serially?

If i am using my PC parallel port to control the transmission, that means i need a parallel to serial converter before feeding the signals to the transmitter, right? ops:

That's not a dumb question, and you answered it correctly. The only way to avoid P/S conversion would be if you only wanted the result in analog form at the receiver output. This would not be useful unless the data were actually a digitized form of something like audio or video, and you weren't interested in having access to the original digital data.
