Dave,
This is off topic but, do you have any alternative link to: Brilliant PIC Simulator: http://www.oshonsoft.com/picsimulatoride503.zip ? It sounded interesting but the link doesn’t seem to work.

Anyway, the optotriac's max continous current is 60mA, so can switch about 10...13VA load directly. (small bulbs, solenoids etc.)
