Over the last year ive built about 5 transmitters . . . the ones that worked worked terribly. I've been looking around on the internet n stuff 2 try and find a good oscillator, but don't have enough knowledge to look at it and c if its good or not.

What I need is a oscillator or transmitter that has a range of 1/4 to 1/2 a mile. It will run on a 9 volt battery. I need something simple. If it's a transmitter, two transistors, if it's an oscillator, 1 transistor. its gotta fit in a tiny project enclosure.

I have a transmitter circuit using 3 transistors
BC547
C2570
2n3866

2n3866 is the final power amplifier. This transmitter is of 1 W & has a range of 2 km. If you are interested mail me at vaibhav.birit@patni.com
