Circuit drawing - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hello,

I downloaded a free version of Design Works Lite 4 for drawing circuit diagrams on my computer. I laboriously drew one small circuit only to have in go into cybernetic oblivion when I tried to save it. :x

Anyway, I cannot figure out certain things about it. Does anyone else use it or do you use a free program like it that you would like to share?

I am hoping someone can help me out a bit.

try eagle.

you can get it at http://www.cadsoft.de

it's free, and it does everything... you can make schematics, and go straight to PCB layout with autorouter and all that nice stuff. it rocks.
