Okay, what I was doing was backing up the database and currently its 30MB. I’m on a 56k connection and its pretty hard to download that file so I tried to empty a few database tables to lower that size. The tables I tried empting were search_worldlist and search_worldlist_match which would halve the size to 15MB. Now if I didn’t back those two tables up and I had to do a restore we would have a search button that would not return any results due to the way this forum is built.

It seems that when ever a post is made it explodes each word into a line within those tables and then has a reference to the post it came from. That table has 770,000 rows in it meaning Electro Tech Members have typed 770,000 words!!!

A useless but very interesting fact!
