Default Latest Thread feature not working properly.

Quite frequently I've noticed when clicking on the "Jump to last unread post" button that it keeps jumping me to the same post in the middle of the thread (especially on threads with more than 1 or 2 pages) not the actual latest post in that thread. I find myself having to page through a post re-reading old posts to find out where the new one's start. Even when I clear my cookies manually after logging out it keeps going to the same random post in a given thread when clicking the 'latests post' button. This is kind of annoying? Is this just a bug in the forum? Can it be fixed? I waste a lot of time on subscribed and regular threads in the forums because of this.

Yeah, me too.
I am directed to a page half-way through the pages of a topic then if I don't see the date or remember things that were posted before then I reply to the old part of the thread.

I use Microsoft XP-Home operating system with all the latest updates and Internet Explorer 7 browser. I am directed to the last post made on all other forums except this one.

I am not always sent to the middle page of a topic here. Only long ones. Like the page counter has only 10 fingers to count pages then it runs out of fingers on long topics.

Same here. I thought it was just my computer!

It is rather disturbing having to re-read past posts. The feature was obviously made to offer efficiency within the forum, but in its current state it does just the opposite.

Nigel, or the forum admin, anyone else have anything to add? Is there some way to fix this?
