I posted this question http://www.electro-tech-online.com/g...questions.html in the theory section. I think it's pretty much a theory question. It got moved into chat. I'm not bugged by the move but I WAS trying to follow the rules. Care to explain the reasoning behind moving it? and what rightly goes into "theory"?

It has something to do with something so it doesn't really belong in chat (although I post curiosity question in chat too, so I understand) and is a bit more of a theory question than application, so it makes some sense for it to be in theory rather than chat.

I didn't move it, but I consider the Theory forum more for posting articles than asking questions?.

it wouldn't hurt to have something to that effect in the title (or a sticky saying that).

Hi Guys,
I moved it. And this was because as Nigel states it was a question and questions are for the General Electronics Chat forum. The Electronic Content forum category is for full articles only. We do understand that it can be hard to distingish and we will attempt to make it more clear.
