Talking Is there something wrong?

I keep on receiving e-mail notifications to-day for the threads that were not original generated by me. On 22nd to 23rd of August, I was asked by this site to update "Zend" and did not allow me to go in. It happened both at home and at work. However, this message was gone couple days later.

If you subscribe to a thread(I.E. reply to one), then you will receive an email notification when someone else replies to the thread. This can be turned off in "User CP".

Oh, never mind. I just relized what you were talking about. Yeah, Electro-Tech went down for a few days. It is OK now. I thought you meant something else? Sorry.

Thanks Mark, I meant I received six e-mails notifications for these two days concerning "Final Year Project" and four e-mails notifications for "LM317". I had only replied to these threads once and the notifications keep coming every time people replied to them. I had turned off the notification from the "User CP" and they are still coming to me.

Go to your CP profile and unsubscribe from the threads. Turning off notifications just prevents auto-subrscriptions when you reply to a post. Although... I did get subrscribed to three posts when I had that turned off, so I guess it's not perfect.

You can stay subscribed to the threads, all you have to do is turn off "Instant EMail Notification".
