Default Missing Navigation Bar at bottom screen

Any chance the administrators can turn on the Navigation Bar that used to be present at the bottom of each screen, ie;

Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free > Electronics Forums > Micro Controllers

I miss that feature since they upgraded the software awhile back. I always scroll through messages and then hit the Navigation Bar link at the bottom to pop up a level and refresh the message list. Now I have to scroll through the entire length of posts to get at the Navigation Bar at the top of page.

Regards, Mike

Hmmm, just realised that doesn't work after posting.

What has this to do with Micro Controllers?

Hi Mike,

The back button takes me back (up one level) but doesn't affect the high-lighting of the thread I just read. And as you said, it doesn't clean up nicely after a post.

It doesn't have anything to do with microcontrollers. That's just the topic I veiw most often and I didn't realize there was a Feedback/Comments topic (duh!).

pressing the HOME key on my keyboard (between inster and page up) takes me to the very top of the page, where the nav bar is... no scrolling required.

conversely, the END key jumps to the end of the page, no scrolling either.

justDIY: I totally agree. I have been using Home/End buttons so much, that I didn't even notice that there is no navigation bar on the bottom of the page

Just personal preference guys. As I end up at the bottom of the page after reading each thread, it was much more convenient than taking my hand off the mouse to hit the home key.

I'm not sure if they replaced the bottom navigation bar with the google ads (I just don't remember if the google ads were there before). I don't mind the ads but I do mind them taking away a "feature" from the upgrade that I used.

No, the bottom navigation bars were on the old forums, perhaps this new software doesn't support them?.

I agree though, they were useful, I used them all the time!.
