Also, does anyone read the feedback threads? If so, a little feedback now and again would be appreciated.
I read ALL threads, but there's nothing I can do, only the Administrator can alter board settings (assuming there's a setting that might help?).

Hello all
I've been reading these forums for several months now, and after the first couple of weeks of just reading, I decided to register so that I could view attachments etc. A couple of days ago I decided to start posting. Anyways I have experienced the same symptoms as Zevon8. Soooo after logging on I verified that there were indeed cookies (3 of them actually), but it seems that they were expiring too soon or something (I'm guessing because of the previously stated symptoms) Any how I tried using the remember me checkbox, and so far it seems to be working.

I agree with zevon8, in that it seems to be related with navigation. Even when viewing attachments, when I hit the back button on my mouse, then try to view another attachment it would require me to log back in. This is very frustrating especially when it happens while trying to post a reply.

Okay guys, this has been on my mind for some time and I have attempted to fix it but it seems that not all people experience it and I definately dont so it makes it hard.

Now, what i have done this time is increase the setting:

Time-Out for Cookie - This is the time in seconds that a user must remain inactive before any unread posts are marked read. This setting also controls how long a user will remain on Who's Online after their last activity.

This setting has now been changed from 900 to 3600. Lets see if that solves the problem.
