Search minimum string length - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

I was wondering if we could get the minimum search term length reduced to 3 at most? I realise that it will put more load on the server, but with so many terms below 4 letters long it is hard to narrow searches down sometimes.

For example:
PIC, BIT, BCD, ASM, 16, PWM, CCP are all terms i've tried to use recently, and they are all ignored.

PCB, NPN, PNP are others also.

PCP, THC, LSD... you don't know how many times I've tried to search for those.

LED, LCD - to be serious.
